REVEREND GUITARS now featured at ROCK CITY MUSIC COMPANY

Rock City Music Company is ecstatic to welcome the one and only Reverend Guitars to its ever-growing arsenal of top-quality instruments and gear.

Founded in 1997 in East Detroit, Michigan by guitar guru Joe Naylor, the company has grown from a one-man custom operation to one of the most talked about companies in the music instrument industry. Currently based in Toledo, Ohio and led by Ken and Penny Haas, Reverend Guitars has continued to push the envelope on design, versatility, and impeccable craftsmanship of its instruments.

With an artist roster that includes Billy Corgan(Smashing Pumpkins), Reeves Gabrels (The Cure, David Bowie) and Mike Watt (The Stooges, Minutemen) among others, it’s clear that Reverend Guitars offers products as creative and unique as the players that use them.

For the better part of the last 20 years, Reverend Guitars were found exclusively at Joe’s Music in Eastpointe, Michigan. As a former employee of Joe’s Music, Naylor built some of the most iconic Reverend instruments in the back room of that store, helping to build the brand/store legacy that locals have come to know.

With the closing of Joe’s Music’s brick and mortar location, Reverend Guitars can now be found exclusively at Rock City Music Company in Livonia, Michigan where it will carry on the legacy of this iconic brand as part of this new exclusive southeast Michigan partnership.

"The enthusiasm and professionalism we see coming from Rock City Music is undeniable,” says Reverend CEO Ken Haas. “They have succeeded with our Railhammer Pickups, and we see how well they do with other brands. We know this will be a great partnership, and we look forward to many good things to come!"

“I am so happy this has finally happened,” says Nick Marocco, owner of Rock City Music Company.  “Reverend has been at the top of my list of products I have wanted to carry since day one. The history of the brand is deeply rooted in Detroit and represents just how great a guitar can be. It is truly an honor to offer these great instruments to our customers.”

To celebrate this partnership, Rock City Music Company will host a live in-store event at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2022, featuring guitar wizard and Reverend artist Greg Koch, and Reverend Guitars CEO Ken Haas. Admission to “The Ken and Greg Show” is free and will feature a Q&A, live performance, and other surprises.

Reverend Guitars are available in store and online now!
